What is the REAL Project? |

The Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Prevention Programming Office coordinates programs, activities and services related to making healthy life choices regarding substance use. The REAL Project is the programming entity of the AOD Office. The REAL Project offers education, prevention, intervention, assessment, counseling, re-entry and referral services designed to enhance students’ personal and academic success. Qualified staff is available to assist students with these services; including BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Interventions for College Students). Peer led programming is also an important element of the REAL Project. Professional health educators and trained Peer Educators provide a wide variety of college health related programming to inform students how to make low risk, healthy choices.
